Marketing Communications Manager
Description of Role:
  • Marketing Communication planning & Execution – Author and execute marketing communications plans that align with the business and marketing strategy. Develop and implement industry-leading integrated branding and marketing communications plans and tactics, including but not limited to brand & product positioning – creative, web, PR, tradeshows, events, internal communications, sales collateral, joint-marketing efforts, etc. Engage with internal and external resources to deliver communications against plans, on time and within budget.
  • Brand development – Spearhead brand initiatives that build the Amonix brand. Lead the development of marketing communication materials. Proofread, edit collateral for accuracy, consistency of brand execution and quality of copy
  • Brand usage – Enforce consistency of brand usage across marketing communication materials. Ensure a seamless integration of communications that reflects the Amonix brand values, essence and promise.
  • Web Management – Maintain and evolve the website to elevate the Amonix brand.
  • PR – Co-ordinate & assist in PR activities working closely with the external agency.
  • Event Marketing – Co-ordinate tradeshow/event planning and execution.
  • Brand assets – Maintain brand assets
  • Marcomm project – Lead or support other marketing communications activities that align with the strategy
  • Metrics – Recommend and implement measurement criteria for marketing communication initiatives.
 
Background:
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and recommend integrated brand and communications strategies, programs and tactics linked to company, business & marketing strategies
  • Qualified candidate must be experienced in communications and have a passion for brand development and communications excellence
  • Experience working with external agencies and fostering strong working relationships
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to apply product positioning, branding, and company identity concepts across all communication vehicles
  • Exceptional oral and writing skills with demonstrated ability to discern key messages and distill complex concepts into audience-specific communications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of trademark and legal considerations for communications activities
  • Cross-functional teaming experience
  • Commitment to meet all deadlines with highest quality deliverables on-budget
  • Creativity – Conceptual, Visual and written
  • Solar industry experience a plus
  • Strong project management skills
  • University educated
