Product Marketing Manager

This person is responsible for coordinating between all stakeholders (sales, engineering, manufacturing, customer requirements) to manage and be responsible for successive product releases of the Amonix HCPV system. 

Description of Role:

The Product Marketing Manager will play an important role in several aspects:

  • Customer Requirements.  Develop a database and process for capturing all customer requirements, as well as internal requirements, and develop a quantifiable business case for each requirement;
  • Higher Performance / Cost Reduction.  Rationalize product changes that support cost reduction or higher production from the Amonix HCPV system, and prioritize them in and amongst customer requirements;
  • Coordinate between all organizational units.  The PMM will coordinate between all groups in the company, including manufacturing, engineering, R&D and sales, on changes to the product and timing of those changes.
  • Release cycle.  PMM will manage the company and the constituent stakeholders in all aspects of product releases.
  • Maintain a long term product roadmap.  The PMM will work closely with the Founder and CTO to clearly articulate the 3-5 year product roadmap to both the company and industry analysts.
  • UL/IEC/TUV testing and certification.  The PMM will be responsible for coordinating the product release cycles with required industry certifications such as UL or IEC (Europe), TUV (accelerated lifecycle testing) and CEC (CA).
  • Modeling Systems.  The PMM must ensure that correct and current PV modeling of the Amonix HCPV system is available in industry standard software systems like PVSYST and PVSTAT so the systems will accurately model the performance of an installed Amonix HCPV system.

The successful candidate will be able to own and direct all aspects described above, in a hands-on manner and provide marketing leadership, positioning the Company as the preeminent choice for HCPV system across the industry.

Background:

  • 10+ yrs experience in a program management role (could be in other industries);
  • Background in managing hypergrowth environments a plus;
  • Background in the energy business and/or construction a plus;
