Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Amonix is seeking an experienced professional to serve as Production Supervisor for the Seal Beach Receiver Plate and Mega Module production assembly lines. This position will report directly to the Plant Manager, and supervise both production lines.  Responsibilities will include full manufacturing responsibility for both Mega Modules and Receiver Plate assembly operations.

Description of Role:

The Production Supervisor plays an important role in several aspects:

• Supervision. Supervises, coaches and mentors personnel on safety, quality and productivity performance.
• Metrics.  Assemble, analyze and communicate area metrics to support business goals and improve area performance.
• Work Environment. The Monitoring of programs that ensures a safe work environment compliant with all appropriate regulations which includes Environmental Health and Safety, Injury and Illness Prevention Programs as per OSHA and regulatory guidelines.
• Development Design.  Support/development, design and conduct/supervise testing of new products to improve quality and enhancement of product lines within the confines of effective manufacturing.
• Performance Management. Lead factory personnel in Performance Management programs such as Lean, 5S, Continuous Process Improvement and Kaizen.
• Product Quality. Monitors product quality and process data per standard operating instructions.
• Product Knowledge. Provides suggestions for more efficient operation, lower costs and improved quality or production rate or other innovations based on knowledge of process. 
• Team Development. The Production Supervisor will hire, mentor and develop employees including performance management and annual performance assessments.

The successful candidate will be able to own and direct all aspects described above, in a hands-on manner to expertly deliver Amonix Products.

Background:

• Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience in roles of increasing responsibility.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and processes.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
