Solar Industry Leader Amonix Appoints Chief Financial Officer and Two New Independent Directors

Patrick McCullough Named CFO; Matthew Ryan and Michael Skelly Join the Board as Independent Directors

Seal Beach, California – June 14, 2010 – Amonix, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of concentrated photovoltaic (CPV) solar power systems, today named Patrick McCullough Chief Financial Officer and announced the appointment of two new independent directors, Matthew Ryan and Michael Skelly, to its Board of Directors.

New Amonix CFO Patrick McCullough has more than 15 years of corporate finance experience with global Fortune 500 industrial equipment, building products and automotive companies, and significant expertise managing treasury, finance, accounting, tax, compliance and internal control functions. Prior to joining Amonix, McCullough was the CFO and Senior Vice President of IMI Severe Service Division, a global leader in severe service valve and control solutions for the fossil fuel, nuclear power, and chemical processing industries. He also has served as Division CFO at two divisions of Johns Manville, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, and as CFO of a billion-dollar U.S.-Chinese joint venture in Shanghai China.

New Board member Matthew Ryan is President Americas of CEVA Logistics, a leading provider of world-class supply chain solutions for large and medium-size national and multinational companies across the globe. Ryan joined CEVA in 2009 as Chief Operating Officer, bringing 30 years’ experience in the highly competitive and dynamic global electronics manufacturing and distribution industry, including 15 years with Flextronics International. At Flextronics, Ryan ran end-to-end contract manufacturing and logistics operations generating revenues in excess of $20 billion. 


New Board member Michael Skelly is Founder and President of Clean Line Energy Partners, an independent developer of high-voltage, long haul transmission lines. Previously, Skelly led the development of Horizon Wind Energy from a two-person company to a leadership position in the U.S. wind industry. Horizon was acquired by Goldman Sachs in 2005 and in mid-2007, sold the company to EDP in the largest transaction to date in the burgeoning clean energy industry. Before joining Horizon, Skelly developed thermal, hydroelectric, biomass, and wind energy projects in Central America with Energia Global.
